Conor McGregor goes wild, acts like an idiot at Bellator 187
If I told you that an MMA story originating from a Bellator event in Dublin would hit mainstream news, would you believe me? Well that's exactly what happened yesterday during Bellator 187 at 3Arena.
In the middle bout of a 5-fight main card, SBG Ireland fighter Charlie Ward faced off against veteran John Redmond. Sitting cageside was Ward's teammate Conor McGregor, and if you saw Artem Lobov's fight at UFC Gdansk you'd know that it is unlikely that McGregor would be a quiet observer of the contest.
Conor also found himself in hot water for comments made backstage at the same event...
When Ward stopped Redmond at the very end of the first round, McGregor was back at it again...
After being ejected from the cage by referee Marc Goddard, the UFC Lightweight Champion attempted to make his way back into the cage when a commission worker tried to stop him...
It was then reported by several outlets, including Yahoo Sports, that McGregor had been arrested at his hotel for a scuffle after the event. It has since been reported false and the tweets have been deleted.
