The main event of this weekend's Fight Night features two former champions from different divisions in what is likely going to determine who gets the next crack at Tyron Woodley.

While Eddie Alvarez says he is the most violent man in the UFC, Robbie Lawler may beg to differ. The man has been involved in some of the best wars in recent memory, with the Condition 2 fight and THAT Rory Macdonald fight. He is now coming off of an exciting fight against Donald Cerrone in which everyone, including both fighters, wish it was 2 more rounds. He gets that chance Saturday night.

His strategy is simple: utilize his physical advantage. Lawler is a big welterweight and needs to bully the smaller RDA. He also hits like a truck, so look for him to land that power shot to put down the former 155 champion.

Rafael Dos Anjos is an interesting fighter. When he was at lightweight making his run at gold, he was unstoppable, able to overwhelm every fighter he was squared up against, including a dominant performance to win the lightweight belt. Enter USADA. After what seemed to be a fluke knockout by Eddie Alvarez, he went on to drop a decision to Tony Ferguson. He then decided the weight cut was too much, moved up to 170, and has won a pair of fights, most recently a submission victory of Neil Magny.

RDA needs to utilize his skill advantage. Being a smaller welterweight, he needs to use superior technique and look for the takedown. Look for him to use quick burst once he gets inside Lawler's range. This is a tough challenge, but tough fights are nothing new to the former champion. Be sure to check this one out.
