Untitled MMA is Going to UFC Nashville & UFC 238
As we mentioned on this week’s podcast, the Untitled crew is going to be making the trek to a couple of upcoming UFC cards. In March we’ll be headed to Nashville for Anthony Pettis vs Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. That’ll be my 6th UFC event, and our 4th as a group. If you look at the card, it’s... not great. But if you’ve ever listened to our podcast (even once, and even for just a few minutes) you probably know that Brenden is a huge Anthony Pettis fan. So with an opportunity for one of us to see our favorite fighter (and a top 10 fighter of my own), and tickets being pretty reasonably priced compared to other UFC events we’ve been to, we decided the 7 hour trip was going to be worth it. Even if the names on the card don’t necessarily pop out, I’ve never had a bad time watching prelims live. There are worse ways to spend your weekends than watching sanctioned cagefights in a cool ass city like Nashville. I’m hoping to get some sort of video content out of that card, most likely a video diary or something like that. It’ll be our first venture into actual video content, and that seems like a decent opportunity to try it out.
Then in June, when the UFC returns to Chicago for UFC 238, we’ll be making the much shorter journey west to the Windy City. That’ll be our 5th card as a group, and the 3rd (my 4th) at the United Center. If all goes well on that video diary for the Nashville card, I don’t see a reason we wouldn’t do one for this occasion as well.
